Great weekend close to home. This past weekend we took WB and BOW and BOB with our Devereux bred bitches. Estee took WB/BOW and Halo took RWB and Eve took BOS and Sunday Halo took WB/BOW and Eve took BOB! What a great show weekend!

CH Devereux's Evening Star JC finishes her championship by taking back to back 5 pt Majors at Hound Specialy and taking BOB over huge entry with top 20 Specials. Evie's first show she took BOB as a puppy over top 20 Specials and BIS puppy and has finished with equal success. Evie has been out three times since finishing her CH and has taken BOB all three outings. We look forward to an exciting Specials career with this Devereux bred beautiful bitch!

We have Thanksgiving puppies here at Devereux Whippets! Truly & Rory had four beautiful pups that were whelped November 23, 2006. Three beautiful boys and one precious little girl. Please see photos under "Litter 2006".

Petland has a whippet. We hated to see the day that whippets started showing up in the cages of pet stores. These puppies DO come from puppy mills. As much as you would like to save these precious little pups from their cages PLEASE DON'T!!! This only encourages the Pet Stores to purchase more puppies from the puppy mills for profit. This so called "Corp." that they get thier puppies from supports and purchases all of their puppies from mills. I don't care what they say and what kind of quality animals they say they have THEY'RE LYING!!! JUST ASK YOURSELF: What reputable breeder would just ship their precious puppies off, not knowing where they will be going or who they will be spending their lives with (or how for that matter) just for a little cash in their pocket. PLEASE HELP SHUT DOWN PUPPY MILLS: Don't support Pet Stores that SELL pure-breed puppies for profit!!! There are plenty of places like PetSmart, Petco, AgriFeed, Smokey Mountain Feed, TSC and Co-op (just to name a few) that sell great pet food and pet supplies. If you're looking for a puppy contact your local kennel club for breeder referrals or check online on the AKC website. REMEMBER: YOU CAN HELP SHUT DOWN PUPPY MILLS TOO!!!
